WWJD? (What Would Joostin Do?)

Summary: “Video games” are just a creation from man that is used for entertainment and sometimes used to relieve stress. Josh Lovison says hours after the Virginia Tech shooting people already started blaming media violence for that terrible incident. When it really was just some kid who was just completly out of his mind. If he did play video games he didn’t play games just for fun “but primarily on a constant exposure to violent stimuli”.

Commentary: I completely agree with Josh Lovison. Games don’t corupt childrens’ minds. They were already “sick” before hand. Churches and schools, in order reward kids they let them play video games or other electronic devices. So why if video games create this vass amount of criminals would churches and schools contribute to them.

Evaluation: Media Post communication company, and Josh Lovison is a “editorial expertise”. he really doesn’t establish if he is credable.

Summary: The author has a very strong opinion and facts on the game violence. Most games today are getting more violent and are attracting little kids. The author points out that in games of today you can be a “armed assassin” and/or “hard-bitten gang member”. All these games target children of today, and affect how children act and show themselves in society.

Commentary: I agree and disagree with the author, because I really don’t believe children are affected by video games, but by their own personal lives. There parents might be abussive, they might have been molested, or could be metally abussed. I agree on that I really don’t want to see little kids playing video games on how to or when to kill. Also like in Grand Theft Auto you can kill prostitutes and whore off your prostitutes. I wouldn’t want anybody’s children seeing that or experiencing that even in the virtual world.

Evaluation: I have played some of the games he is talking about, and all he said is true about the games. You really are a gang member in Grand Theft Auto and you kill people, steal cars, kill police, and have sex with prostituts. the author is being very pathos, because the information he gives you makes you feel appalled at the fact that this is going on in games today.
